New Category: Dentistry

So I’m freaking out a little (what’s new). I must be sounding like a broken record because I’ve literally been saying the same thing for the last three posts. I’m about to start a new job in a few months. It might be a good time to brush up on a little bit of dentistry before I start seeing patients unsupervised.

I’m going to be writing some posts about things I’ve learned while self-studying. Maybe these posts will be entertaining to fellow dental professionals or anyone who might be curious.

Or maybe not. And that’s okay! I’m mainly doing this for my own learning.

My goal is to stick to important things and write in a way that doesn’t feel like a textbook. I want this to be really simple, conversational, and example-driven where possible. There were many times in dental school where I caught myself thinking “I really could explain this better,” or “there must be an easier way to say this.” Well, now is my chance to prove that.

It really is amazing how much nicer it is to study purely for the pursuit of knowledge and not an exam looming over your head. Let’s learn together!

As always, feel free to discuss in the comments below or reach out via the contact form. I’d love to hear from you!
